A Brief Survey of Adivasi (Tribal) Literature in Maharashtra

Abstract

The Adivasi (Tribal) people are the sons of India. They have been born and bought up in the company of forest. Adivasi culture is rich culture. They have tremendous forms of literature but in oral form. The Adivasis have no individual script. They have no language but a dialect. The literature composed by some Adivasi and Non Adivasi in Maharashtra is discussed in a brief manner in the present paper.
