BULK WAVE ANALYSIS IN ROTATING GENERALIZED THERMOELASTIC MEDIA FOR GREEN-LINDSAY THEORY

Abstract

In the present paper phase velocities of three dispersive waves have been estimated.
The medium is considered to be homogenous, isotropic rotating in the context of Green
Lindsay generalized Theory. The perturbation method has been implemented to solve cubic
equation with complex coefficients. The numerical illustrations have been explored for
magnesium like material as well as Copper material and also represented graphically with
help of MATLAB code and comparison study also has been carried out.
