Microwave Attenuation Characteristics of Ba-Sr-CoHfFerrite

Abstract

Microwave attenuators have been employed to
counter the unwanted electromagnetic interference.
In this paper, Co-Hf doped BaSr hexagonal ferrite
has been synthesized. The microwave attenuation of
the prepared samples of ferrite has been measured
with vector network analyzer at X-band of test
frequency range. Co-Hf ions cause increase in
attenuation and sample x=1.0 has
maximumattenuationof with composition
x=1.0having maxima of 62.97 dB at 12.40 GHz.
