Abstract

Time plays a very crucial role in our lives; hence, the time zones came into existence. There are   numerous time zones all across the globe. All the work irrespective of their type is dependent on time. Some countries have two or more than two time zones. India follows the Indian Standard Time (IST).  It is the primary time standard with +5.30UTC ahead of UTC and followed in Indian subcontinent. India, being a vast country after the independence is facing a problem with its own time zone; mainly, the people belonging to North East India. So, in this paper we made an approach via fuzzy clustering by fuzzy c means algorithm and calculating the problem by the observation of sunrise and sunset of different cities of India.
