ATTENDANCE SYSTEM USING LOCATION-BASED AND FACE RECOGNITION SYSTEM

Abstract

Automatic Face Recognition (AFR) technologies have created several enhancements within
the dynamic world. Taking attendance with the use of a real-time system assists the person to
manage the daily activity. This technique not solely marks the attendance by the use of the
face recognition system in the period of time conjointly works on the location-based
attendance marking system. Within the epoch, individuals use to vary their vogue on an
everyday basis. If the camera isn't able to acknowledge the person then the location-based
system manages to mark the attendance of the system. For the implementation of python,
Open CV and location-based technologies (GPS) has been used. This system is a combination
of a Location-based and automatic face recognition system. In the end, if both techniques are
not able to fulfil the requirement, a manual marking option is added in the system
