Abstract

Return on Investment is the foremost focus for every business which has the motive to make profits. Overheads costs such as training, welfare measures, allowances, incentives and so forth are spent for the growth of employees, by assuming boding evolved over the time period for an employee will stay back to render service in the organization. Retaining an employee  saves the double the cost of recruiting and training the candidates. Employers focus big picture of the organization. Whereas, the staffs of an organization lapse team cohesiveness and objectives by spreading ego, nepotism spreads as organizational politics. Late 1990s IT, ITES and BPO absorbed huge employees in India. In the financial year 2015 highest attrition across industries was seen in  the  ITeS  sector  (21.9%)  (Deloitte,  Annual  compensation  survey.2015). This research paper conceptually proposes from the perspective of organizational politics and its impact for turnover intention, social loafing and building self-esteem, with stress variable as mediating moderator
