ROLE OF INFOGRAPHICS IN RURAL EDUCATION SYSTEM OF INDIA

Abstract

Education is the highest priority for every country to make self-reliance by reducing poverty and boosts economic growth, per capita income which eventually strengthen countries development. According to HRD, India has over 900 universities and around 40000 colleges [1] to cater need for higher education, whereas at primary & secondary level, India has a large private school system complementing government run schools with almost 29% of students receiving private education between 6 to 15 age group [9]. But what about rural education development. How Digital India impact quality and sustainability rural education? What factor may play vital role to retain school going students in villages? To figure out above question author proposed effective way of utilizing infographic as a technological tool for noticeable improvement in rural education.
