GREAT PHILOSOPHER AND THINKER OF EDUCATION: SWAMI DAYANANDA

Abstract

There are number of Indian and foreign educational philosophers who have played significant role in the education system. Their vision towards way of teaching-learning processes, methods, discipline, curriculum and many other social and psychological aspects which affect the pupil, teacher and curriculum are incomparable. The motto of present article is to bring in notice the achievement, contributions of one Indian, Vedic philosopher Swami Dayan and. Who emphasized the importance of education in a persons life? He stated that this is only education which assistances everyone to attain acquaintance, art, music, literature, virtue, willpower; and eliminates unawareness and immoral practices. Swami Ji further recommended the multidimensional course, excellence and significance of humanity and thinking. He recommended people to follow Vedas philosophy in their life. Swami ji touched every aspect of education which directly and indirectly influence a persons life.
