Abstract

Indo-US ties have been subject of much discussion because of Indian Prime Minister Shri NarendraModis visit to America recently. In the past few years, because of Modi Governments efforts, Indias relation with the US has seen decisive betterment whether it is about trade or defence issues. The research paper seeks to look at the Indo-US ties historically so as to analyze the Modi Governments foreign relations with the US which has come to a crucial juncture by which India and the US both are benefiting from each other through peaceful cooperation and trade. The paper moreover probes the idea of alignment of India with super power America with specific purpose so as to ascertain how strategic development of India.
