Android Application for Blood Donation under Make in India Initiative

Abstract

Availability of required blood group donor and in required amount has become serious social issue in India. In respect with this concern a survey was done on 385 respondents to understand their awareness level regarding Blood donation, its advantages and consequences. The objective behind this study was to understand the current practices and issues in blood donation awareness in Indian Citizens as well as to design & implement compatible mobile application to create and increase blood donation awareness among Indian Citizens. Two Hypotheses were formulated and tested by using SPSS. Google form was created and responses were collected. Random Sampling was used to collect the data from respondents. Both the hypotheses were accepted.
