AN ASSESSMENT OF INFLUENCING FACTORS OF EMPLOYEES PRODUCTIVITY IN NLC LIMITED

Abstract

In todays competitive business environment, manufacturing organizations can no longer afford to waste the potential of their workforce. There are key factors in the employees workplace environment that impact greatly on their level of motivation and level of performance. The workplace environment impacts on employee morale, productivity and engagement both positively and negatively. In the other developed countries an effort to motivate workers, firms have implemented a number of practices such as performance based pay, employment security agreements, practices to help balance work and family, arrangement of training programmes, good physical conditions as well as various forms of information sharing. This study has been conducted and identifies the outcome of an employee in efficiently with respect to working time in hours. The results reveal all the tactics are offered by the corporation will make the employees output as highly effective and beneficial.
