CLINICAL SYMPTOMS DURING EARLY CHILDHOOD DUE TO MOTHERS KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE AND PRACTICES ON PARENTING.

Abstract

Children between age group of 0-14 comprise about one third of the total population in our country and these children are considered to be the future of tomorrow. As the flowers may blossom into a fragment flower in the garden by providing good environmental conditions, so are the children. If we want to grow economically in future we have to provide best to our upcoming potential. Hence it becomes very essential to pay adequate attention on child rearing practices.

            The health of any child depends upon its various clinical parameters VIZ: BMI head circumference, chest circumference as well as social development. Present study is designed to study these clinical parameters in the pre-school children in Etawah District by collecting data of 400 children. One questionare was given to parents and they were made to answer. The results obtained were statistically analyzed on the basis of good, average or poor knowledge of the kids mother. Its was noticed that the mothers with good knowledge reared their children in better way.
