A STUDY ON FACTORS AFFECTING EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IN IT INDUSTRY

Abstract

In this decade of globalization, the IT industry is growing rapidly. Employees who work in this sector is comparatively high and there are many measures taken to increase the productivity as well as the growth of an employee and the organization simultaneously. This study aims to examine the effects of Cognitive Engagement Factors, Behavioral Engagement Factors, and Emotional engagement Factor on employee engagement in IT Industries in Bangalore. The Study result reviled the fact that Cognitive Engagement Factors, Behavioral Engagement Factors, and Emotional engagement Factor had impact on Employee Engagement. The results also showed that IT employee engagement had a significant impact on organizational efficiency. This study suggests that when employees are engaged, it will facilitate to improve their personal work performance, which will ultimately produce positive results for the Organization.
