“Comparative Analysis of working Capital Management of Cable & Wire Industry.”(Special Reference to V Guard Industries Ltd & Kei Industries Ltd.)

Abstract

In the research paper we tried to analyze the working capital management efficiency of V GUARD Industries Ltd. & KEI Industries Ltd.Functional area of finance which covers all current accounts of the company is called working capital management. Working capital management includes relation between short term assets and liabilities. The main aim of working capital management to make sure that a company is able to do its day to day operations and able to bear short term debts and expenses. Another name of working capital is circulating capital. Balance sheet and operating cycle are the two basic principles of working capital management. The main aim of this study is to explain and compare the trends of working capital management and its effect on selected companies (V GUARD Industries Ltd. & KEI Industries Ltd). For this research we have collected annual reports of both companies from the year 2011-12 to 2015-16 by calculating various ratios.
