Impact of Working Environment on Job Satisfaction in Higher Education Sector

Abstract

At present times, many institutions are experiencing various problems by reason of the changing essence of the milieu. The big challenge for every institution is to satisfy its employees so that it can easily adjust with the erratic and expanded environment to achieve success. The institutions need to fulfil the requirements of the workforce by giving proper working environment to increase effectiveness, efficiency, job commitment and productivity of employees. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of working environment on job satisfaction of employee in Education Sector. The data was poised through a self-managed questionnaire and respondents are various employees working in educational institutes located at Jalandhar &Phagwara. Convenient sampling is used for the gathering of data from 100 respondents. The outcomes of the study shows that there is a progressive association between employee job satisfaction and working environment.
