Role of EXIM Bank in Enhancing Export Competitiveness of Indian Companies: A Review of Different Financial Products

Abstract

Main objective of this paper is to explore and investigate the ranges of activities supported by the Indias apex institutions in creating an export capacity environment for Indian companies. EXIM Bank as India's leading export financial institutions, and in line with the foreign trade policy of the Indian government, is actively committed to facilitating and promoting the internationalization efforts of Indian companies and is also committed to improving the global competitive advantage of these companies through a wide range of financing programs and consultancy and support services in all phases of the export economic cycle. Since financial resources play an important role in the escalation of the export company, in particular micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that are facing strong competition from large companies, the Bank offers a wide range, such as long term loans, working capital loans, production equipment, technological improvement scheme and import financing plans through various financial product. The study made it possible to fully understand the individual assistance provided by the bank to facilitate the export company.
