A Paradigm Shift of Education Pattern from the Traditional System to Digital System in India

Abstract

In the current era, technology has entered and affected into every walk of life. In this era of technological upgradation, the digitalisation has revolutionised and affected almost everything from minute little things to complex situations at work places.It is transforming the way people access information, use and communicate with each other. it has made the  learning process easy to a very large extent. With the help of latest gadgets people learn, relearn and unlearn.

The world has become smaller with the availability of internet and digitalization. it has given way for revolution in the education sector as well where traditional learning has been taken over by modern ways of digital learning by way of various ICT tools, e- learning etc. The traditional classrooms have been replaced by smart classrooms with the latest technology enabled devices.

The Indian education system has not been left untouched by the waves of technological transformation. India being a young nation,is very vulnerable to such changes and is a quick adaptor to the latest forms of technology being developed in todays world. Indian education system is also being encompassed under the umbrella of technological advancement.

This research paper attempts to discuss about the upcoming trends in digitised education system in comparison to that of traditional education pattern in India.
