INFLUENCE OF BURNOUT ON ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR: A STUDY AMONG IT PROFESSIONALS IN CHENNAI

Abstract

The present study is an attempt to create a relationship among burnout and OCB among IT professionals in Chennai. Total sample size was 100 and regression analysis was performed to find out the influence of burnout on OCB. Simple random sample was used to collect the sample for this study. The multiple correlations squared symbolize the degree of variance in the conclusion which is accounted for by the predictors; here, 91% of the variance in Burnout is reported for by OCB. Thus, the multiple correlations squared are a bit hopeful, and hence, the adjusted R is more proper.
