Abstract

In modern era, the huge amount of confidential data is wide spread over the Internet. It is very important to keep message secure while it is transmitted over the communication channel. Security of information can be achieved using Steganography techniques. Meaning of steganography is to hide secret data inside another media to obtain resultant steganography object that it is not changed after embedding. In this research, we are introducing a new methodology for security enhancement of stego-image using Even Odd Steganography. The cover image divide into its color planes and the secret image divide into its even and odd parts. Even and odd part of secret image is embedded into any of color plane of cover image using LSB substitution and ISB substitution method. Experiment result shows the value of Peak-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) are getting and the value of Mean Square Error (MSE) is getting decrease which shows proposed method is more secure compare to tradition method.
