Abstract

Internet of things (IoT), is a system of associated computing devices, digital and mechanical machines, objects, animal and people that are provided with their unique identifiers (UIDS). However, it is very much sensitive from several security threats. IoT is a wireless technology that correlates anything around the internet. Classical cryptography algorithm (like RAS) works well, but the technology is upgraded towards quantum computing, it has extensive power to break the classical cryptographic algorithm easily.IoT is one of the disciplines, which needs to be secured to prevent malicious activities. There is a need of a robust cryptosystem for IoT. In this paper the review of quantum cryptography for IoT system security. The explanation of what are the security threats and quantum key distribution by using the essence of quantum and IoT system.
