Review on Big Data Mining and Solutions

Abstract

Today all the devices connected with internet generates lots of data which need to be processed to extract useful patterns of data or information.   Data mining is an activity of extracting some useful knowledge from a large data base, by using any of its techniques. Data Mining is also referred by the names like Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) or Predictive Analytics or Data Science. There are so many techniques of data mining such as clustering, prediction, and classification and decision tree available for solving the problems of big data. In this paper, we present the overview of data mining and knowledge discovery from big data and challenges and its solutions.
