Abstract

In the ever changing world the only constant is change and in order to survive, teacher education institutions also have to change to accommodate the needs of society at large. Today society is characterized by digital natives and net generation learners who use web2.0 on daily basis. NCFTE 2009 has recommended use of technology and development of reflective practitioners. In accordance with the need of NCFTE 2009 and learners, Teacher Education Institutions need to incorporate use of technology to foster reflection. The paper is an attempt to highlight three important web2.0 tools namely wikis, blogs and threaded discussions and their role to promote reflection.
