GC-MS Analysis of Curcuma Longa Extract

Abstract

Phytochemicals as secondary metabolite of plant defense them from various pathogens. These phytochemicals as drug also protect human population from various disease causing microorganisms. The present work was performed to extract different phytochemicals from Curcuma longa rhizome. Results in the form of GC-MS analysis showed presence of many phytochemicals from its extract.
