Social Support Available For Working and Non-Working Mothers in Kerala

Abstract

Now a days more and more women are getting into jobs and their employment has brought about so many changes in their family. Necessary support from the family members helps the working mothers to look after their children in a much better way. This also helps her to plan her work, career and family, reduce stress and also to enjoy work-life balance. The social support extended by husband, own parents, inlaws, servant/ maids enables the mothers in better socialization of her children .It also brings about variations in the bahaviour of children, often leading to their overall personality development.
