Congruence Considerations in Diophantine Analysis

  • Dr. Ramanand Raman

Abstract

We consider the problem to find by congruence considerations equations f(x) = o, with either no integer solutions or only the solution x = o. Many of the results proved below are classical, requiring the application of some elementary results in number theory. Several results on the impossibility of Diophantine equations can easily be obtained by congruence considerations. We give some instances.
