Abstract

Sexual violence is a major problem in larger parts of India. Sexual Violence brings long term psychiatrically and socially sufferings to victims and her family. Sexual violence against women is often a result of masculine behavior and masochistic desires of males and is also influenced by cultural and social ethos. Therefore to control sexual violence crimes in India there is need to look at Indian perspective of sexual violence.
