Abstract

The banking sector has emerged as highly vibrant and dynamic sector in Indian Economy. The advent of technology and swift growth in information technology result in simplified financial transactions over the Internet. Banking is an important part of financial activity of our country and highly advanced digital banking is also much used in India. Digital banking is also called online banking or internet banking. When a bank offers services through online and customers can make transactions and handle other banking activities through online, is called digital banking. Today all the banks provide online banking amenities. The objective of this study is to find out the customer satisfaction towards Online Banking services and Indian banks Meppedu branch in Thiruvallur district. The study was analyzed with 200 samples. Percentage analysis and Chi-square were the statistical tools used. After conducting a thorough research the online banking provides more convenience to the customer and they are  satisfied .
