PUBLIC OPINION SURVEY ON RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JOB SATISFACTION AND WORK SCHEDULE

Abstract

Job satisfaction in regards to ones feeling or state of mind regarding the nature of the work. Employees working schedule is one of the factors contributing to job satisfaction. The main objective of the research is to know the work schedule of the respondents and its relationship with job satisfaction. The data are collected well constructed questionnaire and the sample size is 877 . Convenient sampling method has been used for the purpose of this study. The data collected are analyzed using SPSS software. Statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, Independent sample t test, chi square and ANOVA were used for analysis. From the examination it is demonstrated that out of 877 examples , 447 acknowledged that they are not getting enough holidays.  From the statistical analysis it was found that the satisfaction towards work schedule contributes to job satisfaction. Also the working hours of respondents vary with their educational qualification. This study showed the level of job satisfaction of the workers and the various ways that the employer can follow to satisfy the workers in their working days and working hours duration
