Abstract

Usage of internet and smart phones has paved way to learn online now a days. People have realized the importance of e-learning. Social networking sites have given a remarkable print in the minds of young learners. Potential students are using new technologies to upgrade their learning. Educators are also providing virtual environment. This research paper will highlight the importance of e-learning; it also helps in understanding the various modes of e-learning and creating high impact of social media in e-learning. This paper will also highlight the e-learning using social media with global perspectives and the advantages and benefits that reaped by the corporate around the world. Regarding impacts of e-learning among the society and corporate, this paper aimed at finding the revolutions on the areas of value of business, usages to corporate, income generation, growth of business in terms of percentage, cost effectiveness, employee time at work, employee retention, training effectiveness, competitive edge and the minimization of pollution in the environment in terms of CO₂.
