Abstract

Cloud computing is one of the emerging technology to share resources and services. Cloud based web applications help to deliver convenient and low cost applications with ease of use. Since, such applications are deployed on public servers and uses public infrastructure, It may be vulnerable for security attacks and information can be fabricated or leak to unauthorized users.  Security is primary requirement to maintain trust and authenticity of information and services. This research paper attempts to investigate security issues in cloud computing applications and develop a security model to reduce the security overhead and enhance level of privacy and safety inside application. Here, ECC and RC6 algorithms are used to provide confidentiality over communication and MD5 algorithm has been used to ensure integrity. The complete research work has been implemented a cloud application and deployed and tested on internal cloud servers. Computation time has been used as performance parameters to evaluate the performance of proposed solution. Here, work concludes with the comparative study of different existing solution and address the common problems and excuses.
