Efficacy of Societal Initiatives of Companies for Development of North and South Gujarat

Abstract

This paper attempts to know the allocation & efficacy of societal initiatives of companies in north and south region of Gujarat. To meet objectives of the study,the data have been collected from secondary sources and tabulated to make them more understandable and meaningful. The conclusion from this study shows that the growth of societal initiatives during this study period is at low peak and there were unequal amount spent between districts for societal initiatives, whereas the companies are more focusing on education & health of limited districts. This study also suggests that there should be co ordination between companies and Government regarding with development of underdeveloped and developing regions of Gujarat state.
