Abstract

CRISPR/Cas9 is a powerful technique for the modification of genome in different organisms. Repeat/CRISPR related protein 9 (CRISPR/ Cas9) systems is a fairly good method that provide capability of removal or Addison DNA in genomes in a way which is in sequence-specific manner.  Firstly it was found in bacteria which can provide an adaptive immunity system. CRISPR/Cas9 and its improved version gives vast usage to play with genome and for activating or for repressing the gene expressions. IN that case, CRISPR/Cas9 promises the accelerated cancer researches by giving an effective technicality for dissecting tumour mechanism. The DNA endonuclease which is RNA-guided, Cas9 can be programmed easily for targeting new site by changing its guide RNA sequences, which makes this method more efficient, easier, and scalable tool in biology researches.  Here, we analyse application of CRISPR/Cas9 recently for cancer researches and therapies and its limitation that could affect the clinical CRISPRCas9 application and future direction for development of efficient CRISPRCas9 delivery system that might improvise the cancer therapies.
