TRUST-BASED ROUTING APPROACH IN MANET

Abstract

MANETS are based on mobile networks that dont have any fixed topology nodes that keep on moving from one geographical location to a different geographical location. To establish the communication between sender and receiver both need to follow a routing method. The information is transferred from one node to another by using intermediate nodes. The nodes which are used in the transfer should not be negotiated. In the paper, we have discussed an approach that will make our data transfer more secure by selecting the nodes with high trust value. We have applied the trust-based path selection on AOMDV as ET-AOMDV which uses a multipath routing scheme. We have implemented the fencing technique on the messages. We also applied additional cryptographic techniques to make the data safely reach its destination.
