SECURITY CONCERNS AND ATTACKS IN FOG COMPUTING: A SURVEY

Abstract

Cloud Computing has proved itself as an effective technology to process and store data in the world of computing. However, due to its limitations in terms of latency and bandwidth, fog computing emerged as a new paradigm that ensured effectiveness in latency-sensitive applications, security and privacy of data. Fog computing is also not free from security concerns and attacks, there still exits a few vulnerabilities which are misused by attackers. This paper concentrates on various issues in fog network and also, the attacks affecting the fog network.
