PREDICTING STUDENT ADMISSION SUCCESS USING DECISION TREE ALGORITHM

Abstract

A decision tree algorithm is a method that represent tree like graph which represent model of decisions which will occur in future, including chance event outcome, resource cost and utility. It is also way to display an algorithm. It is one of the important algorithm because it has one unique feature i.e this algorithm has ability to store null values. Tree algorithm is commonly used in operation research, specifically to analysis any decision. In this paper we will study the term decision tree its advantages, disadvantages, implementation and types of decision tree.
