A Career Planning Framework for University Students: Design and Functionality Testing Analysis

Abstract

Career planning and career endorsement is a crucial part of a students future. Universities and colleges are having the responsibility of nurturing the knowledge of the students to make them confident in their career. This career does not always mean for corporate job, it may vary from a company job to a higher degree education admission, entrepreneur to the research scientists; it depends upon the students interests and their own understanding. However, the educational organizations provide influence in this path direction and career planning framework thus becomes important for the education sector to get the best assistance from multi-directional guides for selecting the best option for the future progress. In this paper, we have therefore tried to develop a career planning framework to work in universities. We have analyzed the design and functionalities and have found it beneficial for students.
