COMPARISON OF MENTAL HEALTH AND OCCUPATIONAL ADJUSTMENT AMONG PROFESSIONAL WORKING AND NON-PROFESSIONAL WORKING WOMEN

Abstract

The present study examined mental health and occupational adjustment of professional (100) and non-professional(100) employed women from Punjab State. Inventory of Mental Health constructed by Sharivastava and Jagdish and adjustment by HG Bell were used to collect the data. The result revealed significant and positive association between mental health and occupational adjustment. The professional working women were having and better mental health and occupational adjustment than counterparts.
