LEVEL OF SELF EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT AMONG HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS OF PUNJAB

Abstract

The present study aimed to identify the level of self-emotional management of undergraduate and post graduate students of Punjab. A data of 1424 students was collected through convenient sampling technique. The data was comprised of the students of different programs viz. Sciences, Computer Application, Commerce & Business from different colleges and universities. The students were categorised among high self emotional management, average self emotional management and low self emotional management categories. The data was analysed with respect to different programs and semester of study. The results revealed that the PG level students showed high level of self emotional management than UG level students. It has been found that Science students in case of UG level and Business students in case of PG level showed high level of self emotional management.
