This research paper describes the salient features of biometric security system. Based on the principle of biometric traits of an individual, it is possible to identify his identity specifically. The biological traits which are the characteristic feature of every single indivitual are face, iris, palm vein pattern and finger print match. The greatest threat is the theft of personal data and information. With time digital data became more prevalent, personal when individuals try to secure their content by deploying highly encrypted passwords and authentication techniques. However, the improper and larceny of these security precautions have gradually increased in a number of cases. Data infringement is a deliberate/unintentional liberation  of confidential data to deceptive persons. This escalating conflicts with cyber security has been the solitary reason for enforcing biometric security system. The  major  region of concern is that how one can implement the biometric security for increasing  data security.
