Secularism and Its Politics of Theorizing Principles

Abstract

Theory is a  conceptual framework of events. It is derived from the social-economic and political aspects of human relation. Generally, social scientists adopt the methodology for theorizing the events of particual problem. By adopting the methodology social scientist make a comprihensive analysis of events and demarcate that events from the other events. It help to understand the social phenomena easier. Sometimes theory repersents the oversimplification of the fact and figure of history due to biasness of the particular ideology. Social scientist catch the continuity and the changes of the history by the application of a theory. Theory cannot be seen as a only instruements of determinig the truth but it makes a better understading of the problems. Because there are multipletruth exists in the society. Sometimes theory becomes the tools of projecting the power by the regimes. Thus, Cox says that  Theory has some purpose[1]. It means that existing regime wants to status quo through the control of general people imagination.
