PTSS: Person Tracking in Surveillance System

Abstract

 Person tracking in surveillance system is used in various fields such as airports, offices, and finding missing persons. Various researches had been done in the field of face recognition to build a system that aims to identify the face of a person in a much more accurate way. Our approach is to build a system that could easily detect, differentiate and determine the face of a right person who entered the room. The result obtained that is the data of the person who entered the room matched with the database and thus rules added to the knowledge base of the system that prescribe certain characteristics and behaviour of a person is displayed to the administration of that software.
