Stego-System Design

Abstract

    Steganography has emerged as an important sub-discipline of information security with the capability of providing secrecy in an open environment like the internet.  Design of secure and survivable stego-system is a challenging task.  In this paper, we propose a new stego-system design.  We identify the sequence of pixels which shows minimum variance for parameter estimation using Markov random fields with respect to intensity and brightness.  In these sequences, the information is hidden so that there is no change in the original picture.  We create a coding system using permutation of the pixels which will enable us to hide data in the image.  These permutations serves as the key.
