Abstract

Work-life balance is the stability characterized by the balancing of an individuals life complexity and dynamism with environmental and personal resources such as family, community, employer, profession, geography, information, economics, personality, or values. In the current study researchers addressed the status of work-life balance (WLB) situation of the service industry employees by examining the effect number of children and their care giving responsibility. As the dependent children needs to be cared in many ways, child rearing is definitely a time consuming and tedious task where the employees have to sacrifice many personal needs if they want to keep ahead in the work domain.  In such situation, personal life interference with work  and  work interference with personal life  crept into the  work life balance  issues and make the situation more difficult. An increased focus is needed on the work life status service industry employees and on the well-being of theirdependent children regardless of their age. This can only be achieved by combining different governmental  and organizational  policies.
