RELATIONSHIP OF INFLUENCING VARIABLES AND WORKERS PARTICIPATION IN MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Workers participation in management is essential for increasing the productivity of an organization through effective management and industrial relations.It develops the decision making, active collaboration, trust and joint problem solving. The present study is based on empirical research with the objective mainly to study the relationship between attitude, involvement, performance, motivation and workers participation and to examine the factors influencing workers participation in management.Simple random sampling technique was used to collect the data from the employees of the organization with well framed questionnaire. The study found that independent variables such as attitude, involvement, motivation and performance are having relationship with workers participation in management and the performance is influenced by the workers participation in management.
