ORGANIZATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT IN NLCIL

Abstract

The current study was done to examine the organizational safety and health practice among NLCIL employees of Cuddalore. Since the present research is a kind of field survey, data was gathered from the natural and actual work environment. The employees of the NLCIL were the respondents. The samples were gathered using simple random sampling method. The three components extracted together account for 68.478 percent of the total variance in the organizational safety and health practice. The results revealed that the dominant components of organizational safety is named as essential safety practice, next components of organizational safety is named as Positive Safety Practice and last one name as Occasional Safety Practice.
